The new CD "Vibration. Resonances of Kannel at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre" presents music performed by kannel students of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre since 2002.
This CD features original kannel music, such as Margo Kõlar’s Magic Lake („Võlujärv“) and Gennadi Taniel’s Tandem, as well as arrangements of compositions for other instruments (G. Frescobaldi’s Toccata, F. Couperin’s Suite for harpsichord and V. Kikta’s Two Pieces for harp), performed by the alumni of the kannel specialty of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre- Anna-Liisa Eller, Laura Lindpere and Ella Maidre.
